Title:
ELECTRIC RAZOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54110062
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an electric razor wherein a detecting circuit for detecting the quantity of electricity of a battery before becoming unusable is connected to the discharge circuit of the razor, thereby to prevent remaining of unshaved beards due to the consumption of the battery.

CONSTITUTION: When the discharge begins by the closing of a switch 5, a transistor 12 is in conductive state, and a lamp 13 is being lighted in a state where the remaining capacity of a chargeable battery 4 is ample. When the voltage of the chargeable battery 4 is lowered to a state usuable for a small number of times before the razor becomes unusable, that is, a discharge completion indication setting voltage set by divided resistors 9 and 10, the transistor 12 becomes non-conductive by the divided resistors, and the lamp 13 is put out to carry out the discharge completion indication. Since, in this circuit, the collector of the transistor 12 is connected to one end of a secondary winding of the transistor 2, the lamp 13 is lighted at the time of charging of the opening of the switch 5, and the current flow indication during the charging is carried out.
