To provide a controller for an electric rolling stock capable of easily sharing data between respective apparatuses and performing highly efficient operation on the basis of the shared data.
This controller for an electric rolling stock includes: an internal LAN constructed in a rolling stock; a master controller connected to the internal LAN and for commanding acceleration or deceleration; an automatic train controller connected to the internal LAN and for outputting a deceleration command to the electric vehicle; an inverter controller connected to the internal LAN and for controlling the inverter; an air brake connected to the internal LAN; and a set operation controller connected to the internal LAN. The set operation controller calculates an operation command to the inverter controller or the air brake on the basis of either one of the operation command input from the automatic train controller, the operation command input from the master controller and the deceleration command input from the inverter controller.
