Abstract:
To provide an electric vehicle for effectively protecting a power unit even on an irregular ground.
The electric vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, and the electric power unit 10 including an electric motor as a driving source disposed on the vehicle body frame. The electric motor is disposed on the vehicle body frame so that its rotating shaft is approximately parallel to the vertical direction of the vehicle. The electric power unit 10 has a gear box 12 storing a plurality of gears, disposed on the upper side of a motor assembly 11 constituted by the electric motor.
