To provide an electric wire cutting device that prevents a cut surface of an electric wire from being inclined by restricting lifting of the electric wire during cutting, lightens the load on a cutting blade during the cutting, and securely cuts the electric wire.
An electric wire cutting device 1 includes an electric wire mount part 8 where an electric wire 41 is mounted, a cutting blade 16 for cutting the electric wire 41 mounted on the electric wire mount part 8, and a lifting device 12 which lifts the cutting blade 16. The cutting blade 16 has its cutting edge 18 provided orthogonally to a length direction of the electric wire 41 and also provided obliquely to a lifting direction of the cutting blade 16. The electric wire mount part 8 is provided with a recessed groove part 22 which is formed along the inclination of the cutting edge 18 and into which the cutting edge 18 is inserted, and an electric wire restriction part 6 which restricts displacement of the electric wire 41 in the lifting direction of the cutting blade 16 is provided on each of both sides of the electric wire mount part 8 in the length direction of the electric wire 41.
