Abstract:
To provide a power storage system which can perform self-supported output in a shorter time and a control method of the same.SOLUTION: A power storage system connected between an AC power supply and a load, comprises: an accumulation battery; a conversion unit that converts a DC voltage of the accumulation battery to generate an AC voltage; an output terminal that outputs the AC voltage; an input terminal to which the output voltage of the AC power supply is input; a switching unit that connects or releases the input terminal and the output terminal; and a determination unit that determines whether or not an output power of the AC power supply is smaller than a power consumption of the load. With the input terminal and the output terminal being connected, the switching unit releases the input terminal and the output terminal according to the determination that the output power of the AC power supply is smaller than the power consumption of the load, and the conversion unit starts generation of the AC voltage with a prescribed frequency and a prescribed phase from a prescribed time. The prescribed frequency is the same frequency to the frequency of the output voltage of the AC power supply, and the prescribed phase is a phase of the output voltage given that the output voltage of the AC power supply is supplied to the load at the prescribed time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
