Abstract:
To provide an electrifying member which does not bring about a multi-colored ghost and provides a good image with uniform electrification over a long period of time and furthermore, which can be used even when only DC voltage is applied thereto, and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus each provided with the electrifying member.
The electrifying member includes a conductive support and a cover layer provided on it, wherein frequency is A (Hz), the electrostatic capacitance of the electrifying member is CA(F) when 3v of voltage is applied thereto, the resistance is RA(Ω) and the rate of travel of the electrifying member is B (mm/sec), an inequality of B/4≤A≤B/3 5×10-10≤CA≤5×10-9 5×10 4≤RA≤5×106 is satisfied.
