Abstract:
To provide an electrode for an electrochemical element that is superior with capacity maintenance rate, high rate characteristics, low-temperature characteristics, and reliability, its manufacturing method, and the electrochemical element using it.
This comprises a current collector 11 with a recess 12 and a convex 13 formed at least on one face and a columnar body 15 formed on the convex 13 of the current collector 11. The columnar body 15 contains an active material that stores and releases lithium ion bonded to at least oxygen, and content ratio of oxygen in the active material of the columnar body 15 becomes smaller as it is separated from the interface of the current collector 11.
