Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve seal effect in fitting the electrode of an electromagnetic flowmeter by interposing a thermomelting fluorine resin between a lining and the internal surface of the electrode and by heating the dish part of the electrode part.

CONSTITUTION: Between lining 2, such as fluorine resin, formed on the internal surface of pipe 1 where a fluid to be measured by an electromagnetic flowmeter flows and electrode 3, fluorine resin film 5 molten by heat is interposed. This fluorine resin film 5 covers the edge part of the internal surface of dish part 31 of electrode and when electrode 3 is fitted, fluorine resin film 5 is molten by heating dish part 31 of bond lining 2, fluorine resin film 5 and electrode 3 together thermally, so that even when the temperature of the fluid fluctuates, the adhesive property between electrode 3 and lining 2 will not deteriorate.
