Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly which is increased in the connection strength between an electrode current collector and an electrode lead, and which enables the production of a reliable battery with a long life.SOLUTION: An electrode assembly of the present invention has an electrode active material layer provided on a metal electrode current collector, and is joined to an electrode lead. In the electrode assembly, the electrode current collector has at least a rust inhibitor coating, and a metal oxide coating. The ratio (mg/dm/nm) of a basis weight of the rust inhibitor coating to a thickness of the metal oxide coating is equal to or higher than 0.007 and lower than 0.025.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
