Abstract:
To reduce selective transportation of large particles in electrostatic coating to be applied to a mixture of large particles and small particles.SOLUTION: A first active material particle and a first binder are mixed, thereby preparing a first composite particle. A second active material particle and a second binder are mixed, thereby preparing a second composite particle. The first composite particle and the second composite particle are mixed, thereby preparing powder coating. The powder coating is charged. The charged powder coating is introduced into an electric field, thereby electrostatic power acts on the powder coating. The electrostatic power causes the powder coating to fly toward a base material. The powder coating is deposited on a surface of the base material, thereby forming an active material layer. The second active material particle has a smaller D50 in relative to the first active material particle. When the powder coating is charged, a charge amount of the first composite particles per particle is five times or less of a charge amount of the second composite particles per particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
