Title:
ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3767057
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence element in which uniform surface light emission can be performed.
SOLUTION: A transparent electrode 13 is formed of a single ITO film on a glass substrate 12, and a mesh of a low resistance conductive layer 14 comprising Al is laminated on it. An organic light emitting layer 15 and an opaque electrode 16 comprising AlLi is laminated on the transparent electrode 13 and the low resistance conductive layer 14. Since the low resistance conductive layer 14 is thus laminated on the ITO film of a relatively high resistance, a potential fall at a far part from a takeout part of the transparent electrode 13 is restrained, and a current can be uniformly supplied to the organic light emitting layer 15, thereby an electroluminescence element to perform uniform surface light emission can be realized.
