Abstract:
To enhance the characteristic of an electrolytic capacitor.SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor comprises a capacitor element including: an anode foil having a dielectric layer on its surface; a cathode foil; a separator interposed between the anode foil and cathode foil; a hydroxyl group-containing compound; and a conductive polymer. The separator contains synthetic fibers and cellulose-based fibers. The conductive polymer and the hydroxyl group-containing compound deposit to the surface and inside of the separator. The hydroxyl group-containing compound is composed of at least one compound selected from a group consisting of sugar alcohol and polyhydric alcohol (excluding polymer). In the separator, the hydroxyl group-containing compound is unevenly distributed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
