Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture an electrolyte film provided with passages formed inside thereof.

CONSTITUTION: Multiple grooves are formed over the whole of one surface of an ion exchange membrane forming an electrolytic film (process 1). These grooves are formed by, for example, rotating a brushing roll, in which multiple nylon hairs are embedded, to push it to the surface of the ion exchange membrane, and the ion exchange membrane is bored by the nylon hairs. Two ion exchange membranes, which are respectively formed with multiple grooves over the whole of one surface thereof, are unified in condition that the surfaces formed with the grooves are arranged inside to form an electrolytic film (process 2). Two ion exchange membranes are unified by the hot-pressing for applying the pressure at 4MPa or 6MPa at 145°C-155°C of temperature. With these processes, the electrolytic film provided with passages formed inside thereof can be obtained.
