Title:
ELECTROLYTIC WATER GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3826645
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water generator by which a cathodic water is generated as the cathodic water having a reduction potential, suppressing the oxidation of a reducing substance such as an object substance even in the presence of active oxygen or the like, and maintaining the reduction state or as the cathodic water reducing an oxidizing substance to a reducing substance and effectively reproducing the reducing substance.
SOLUTION: This generator is provided with an electrolytic cell 2 consisting of an anode compartment 18 provided with an anode 12B, a cathode compartment 14 furnished with a cathode 12A and a diaphragm 5 set to demarcate the anode compartment 18 and cathode compartment 14 and permeable to both cation and anion or at least one between them. Anodic water and cathodic water are generated from the raw water contg. dissolved ions by diaphragm electrolysis. Supersaturated hydrogen higher than the theoretical solubility is generated in the cathodic water formed in the cathode compartment 14 to incorporate dissolved hydrogen gas particles, and the particle diameters are distributed between 5 and 1,000 nm by this electrolytic cell 2.
