PURPOSE: To obtain a large displacement output with simple constitution, by constituting the actuator of a movable part member which is elastically retained and composed of a permanent magnet, and an electromagnet which is arranged so as to be able to apply magnetic force to the movable part member.
CONSTITUTION: On the basis of a signal N for detecting the number of engin revolution, a controller 20 recognizes the frequency of vibration inputted in an active type engine retainer 10 from the engine 32 side. When it is judged that a vibration input of low frequency in the range capble of reciprocation of fluid between a main fluid chamber 17 and an auxiliary fluid chamber 18 via an orifice 16a is generated, a control current for blocking the elastic displacement of a movable plate 4 is supplied to an electromagnetic coil 1. When it is judged that the fluid in the orifice 16a generates high frequency vibration input, a control current is so supplied to the electromagnetic coil 1, on the basis of a fluid pressure detecting signal P and an acceleration detecting signal A, that the pressure change in the main fluid chamber 17 is absorbed by the up and down displacement of a movable plate 4. Thereby a large displacement output can be obtained.
