PURPOSE: To use a Chinese food pan in also an electromagnetic cooking device by semispherically recessing a top plate, arranging a heating coil in a reverse surface of this recessed part, and curving the heating coil along the top plate.
CONSTITUTION: In a heating part 3 for ordinary cooking, a heating coil 7 of the same flatness is provided in a lower side of a flat top plate 6. In a heating part 4 semispherically hollowed, a heating coil 9, formed to be semispherically curved so as to be along a shape of the bottom of a pan 8, is set up, and also a top plate 10 for covering an upper surface of this coil is also formed in a curved shape so as to be along this pan, to hollow a plane part of this top plate 10 into a recessed shape. Then in the semispherical heating part 4, when the pan of round bottom such as the Chinese food pan 8 is set up, heating by the heating coil 7 is performed along a surface of the bottom of the pan 8. Thus, the pan 8 can be heated over a wide region, to perform efficient cooking.
