Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to readily drive a movable element with a simple structure by mounting a permanent magnet in the moving direction of the element and providing poles capable of varying the polarity at the element. CONSTITUTION:In an electromagnetic drive device 8, when a coil 6 is not energized, a permanent magnet 3 on a disc 2 is attracted at the positions of poles 4, 5, 7. When the coil 6 is then excited so that the polarities of the main poles 4, 5 become opposite to that of the magnet 3, the disc 2 moves in the advancing direction. The disc 2 is rotated by alternately varying the polarities of the main poles 4, 5.
