PURPOSE: To safely perform operation of cooking while providing its multiformity by connecting in series or in parallel a plurality of heating coils of constituting a heating device, and also setting power distribution ratio between each coil to a predetermined value by providing impedance ratio in a suitable value, in the electromagnetic induction heating device for a range having multiple ports.

CONSTITUTION: A heating inverter 1 is constituted of a series resonating capacitor Cr and a main circuit switching transistor Tr, and a heating coil is constituted of a heating coil 2 of large capacity, heating coil 3 of intermediate capacity and a heating coil 4 of small capacity, to provide predetermined power distribution ratio by selecting a number of turns of winding of the respective coils. Metal pots mounted here are formed in large size 30, intermediate size 31 and small size 32 and positioned on a common top plate 5, and coil voltage corresponding to input power in each coil 2 to 4 is detected respectively by differential amplifiers OA, to light LEDs, provided in each display device 10 to 12, by this voltage. These coils 2 to 4 are left as capable of series connection and parallel connection or individual use of the coil by a switch not shown.
