PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative plate of this design which is able to be applied with a less working man-hour, easily manufactured at low cost, and excellent in an electromagnetic wave absorbing property and an interlaminar adhesive strength by a method wherein a decorative material layer and an electromagnetic wave absorbing material layer are made to be sintered into one piece.
CONSTITUTION: A decorative material layer 2 and an electromagnetic absorbing layer 3 are sintered for the formation of an electromagnetic absorbing type decorative plate 1. The electromagnetic absorbing decorative plate 1 is made to stick to, for example, a fixing mortar layer 5 which is provided onto a reflecting metal shortcircuit plate 4. The thickness of the decorative material layer 2 and the electromagnetic absorbing material layer 3 is not especially specified, but it is generally desirable that the decorative material layer 2 is 0.1∼2mm in thickness d1 and the electromagnetic wave absorbing material layer 3 is 8∼12mm in thickness d2. And, it is also desirable that a ferrite powder such as Ni-Zn ferrite or the like is employed as the electromagnetic wave absorbing material of the absorbing material layer 3, and tile glaze, tile basis material, or the like composed of, for instance, feldspar, clay, silica, and the like is used as the decorative material of the decorative materail layer 2.
