Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a low reflection factor and a high absorption factor, by composing a stereoscopic circuit of conductive thin films and providing the conductive thin films with pores properly so as to vary an apparent intrinsic surface resistance in the traveling direction of electromagnetic waves.

CONSTITUTION: Each element in a stereoscopic circuit is cylindrically formed of conductive thin films 2, and these conductive thin films 2 are provided with pores 2a properly so that an apparent intrinsic surface resistance is varied in the traveling direction of electromagnetic waves 3. The electromagnetic waves 3 traveling inside the cylindrical matters are converted into heat energy by the surface resistance of the conductive thin films 2 and they are attenuated. Further, if the intrinsic surface resistance is made sufficiently high as needed on the plane where the electromagnetic waves 3 are introduced, the electromagnetic waves can be reflected much less on the introduction plane. Hence low reflection and high absorption of the electromagnetic waves 3 can be attained.
