PURPOSE: To obtain an electromagnetic wave shielding material with improved electromagnetic shielding effect and reliability by using a metal fine fiber as a conductive filling material and by adding a metal oxide as a function adding agent.
CONSTITUTION: A metal fine fiber which was adjusted to a length of 50∼1000μm and a diameter of 1∼50μm (40∼70weight%) and a metal oxide (0.5∼20 weight X) are included in a shielding material. A metal is selected from iron, brass, titanium, nickel, stainless steel, or an alloy group of these metals. The metal oxide should be oxidation titanium, oxidation iron, alumina, or the mixture. The shielding material is superb in molding processability. Features for obtaining a molded body of extremely less deformation and electromagnetic shielding characteristics which is equivalent to that of a long fiber regardless of a fine fiber can be obtained. Also, it is superb in reliability including molding properties and stability.
