PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a quick operation under special situations such as an emergency situation by accepting depressing operation to a touch panel with a palm.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a touch panel 10 having a display 11 for displaying buttons and a touch sensor 12 provided on the display 11 for detecting the depressing operation from outside; and a control unit 20. The control unit 20 cancels execution of a job being currently executed when detecting the depressing operation to a touch surface of the touch sensor 12 with the palm during execution of the job.
