PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard with improved portability. SOLUTION: If a cope button 7 is depressed under conditions that a record sheet is drawn out to a midpoint, a winding motor 15 rotates a sheet roller to wind the record sheet, while a light source 16 is turned on to cause an image sensor 17 to read information on the record sheet and a thermal head 24 effects a printing on a heat sensitive paper. If the completion of winding of the record sheet is sensed by a limit switch LS, the driving of the motor 15, the light source 16, the sensor 17, and the thermal head 24 is stopped, but a sheet feed motor 25 is driven until a predetermine amount of heat sensitive paper has been fed.
