Abstract:

To rapidly find a business card owner and to make required information to be taken out when the address of the card owner is searched.

By this method, a user can utilize the file of an electronic business card via a web site. When the user inputs information to be the member of the system, the system transmits an authentication E-mail to the E-mail address of the user, waits a reply to the authentication E-mail address and permits the user to ether the system. When the user inputs one's address and telephone number, etc., onto a page for expressing one's own card, another user views the contents by way of the Internet. The E-mail from the card owner comprises a signature hypertext link by which the receiver of the E-mail is guided to an EBC service. The hyper link enables the receiver of the E-mail to discover the card owner by performing access to the EBC system and to obtain additional information.
