Title:
ELECTRONIC CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002320133
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electronic camera capable of obtaining images whose image resolution is high, at a low cost.

This electronic camera is provided with an imaging system having an imaging optical system 2 and a CCD 9 and an imaging system, having an imaging optical system 3 and a CCD 10, so that optical axes 2a and 3a can be made in parallel. The CCD 9 and 10 are arranged side by side near the center, so that effective light-receiving faces 9a and 10a can be formed on the same plane. At that time, the optical axis 2a is made to orthogonally cross the effective light receiving face 9a by a distance D1 from the left edge of the effective light-receiving face 9a, and the optical axis 8a is allowed to orthogonally cross the effective light-receiving face 10a by the distance D1 from the right edge of the effective light receiving face 10a. Almost the right half of a subject 1 is imaged by the CCD 9, and almost the left half of the subject 1 is imaged by the CCD 10. Then, the subjects imaged by the CCD 9 and 10 are compounded so that one subject image, having the number of pixels which is almost two times as many as that of the CCD 9 and 10.
