Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watch that easily receives a satellite signal when automatically executing reception of the satellite signal.SOLUTION: An electronic watch comprises: a time display part that displays the time at a position indicated by a rotating first pointer; a planar antenna that receives a satellite signal wirelessly transmitted from a satellite; a receiving part that is connected to the planar antenna; and a control part that causes the receiving part to operate when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The planar antenna includes a dielectric substrate and an antenna electrode installed on the substrate. The center of the antenna electrode is arranged within a range from 6 o'clock to 11 o'clock of the time display part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
