PURPOSE: To facilitate feeding of various kinds of electronic components by a method wherein a plurality of trays on which various kinds of the electronic components are stored are vertically piled with a required interval and placed in an elevator so as to be drawn out freely and the tray of the specific kind of the components can be selected.
CONSTITUTION: A framework 12 supporting a number of trays 10 which are piled vertically with a required interval in such a manner that the trays can be drawn out freely is fixed to a horizontal lifting table 11 to constitute an elevator part 1. A tray positioning part 2 draws out one of a number of the trays 10 which has a certain height for positioning. A transfer head 3 is composed of a long supporter 25 provided along a Y-direction and eight attracting pins 26 provided on the supporter 25 so as to attract all the electronic components in one row of the Y-direction among the electronic components 20 on the tray 10 and transfer them. A component conveyer part 4 is provided along the Y-direction and provided for positions P1∼P12 which constitute the feeding part 31 of an electronic component feeder 30.
