Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electronic device for controlling a welding apparatus which joins the overlapped edge parts of can, etc., by working at high welding speed without developing overheat trouble.
CONSTITUTION: This electronic device is constituted of a rectification device 1, inverter device 2, welding transformer 3, in which a primary winding 5 receives an input voltage from the inverter device 2 and a secondary winding 6 supplies the welding current, and control device 4 connected with the inverter device 2. The input voltage supplied into the welding transformer 3 has the selected max. value and the limited term and is the plural pairs of stepping pulses generated in each half period of a relative fundamental frequency changed positive and negative. The wave-form of the welding current Is generated with this pulse is a triangle pulse to each pair of the stepping pulse corresponding to the input voltage and this wave-form has the characteristic constituted of a first ramp which rises to a peak value from zero in the preset term, and a second ramp which drops to zero from the peak value in the preset term.
