PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents page which can be read easily and is excellent in operability even on a display with a small display area like a portable terminal.SOLUTION: Document data on an electronic document are acquired, attributes required for creating the summary of contents are acquired for each of content items constituting the contents, arrangement ranks of the content items are determined according to a predetermined rearrangement rule, and attributes of the content items are changed based on a layout rule based on attributes related to the display device of a terminal.
