This print system 10 is constituted by connecting plural equipments such as an electronic camera 28 or printers 12-24 through an IEEE1394 bus. Each time the node switching button (operating part) of the electronic camera 28 is pressed, the address of the communicating party is successively changed, and a printer response request command is transmitted to another electronic equipment. On the other hand, each printer receives the response request command from the electronic camera 28, and responds with LED flash display and buzzer sound generation. Thus, a user can select a printer to be used by confirming the activation of the response confirming means. Also, desired designation is registered in each equipment, and access can be performed to the printer with the registered name.
