To provide an electronic device system for vehicles capable of increasing the type of electronic device unit capable of being mounted or exchanged at low cost.
This invention is characterized in that the same comprises an electronic device unit 20 having a medium inserting port 21a; a panel main body 30 arranged to cover the surface of the electronic device unit 20 facing toward a vehicle compartment and constituting a design surface having an opening part 31a; and a subpanel 40 arranged between the panel main body 30 and the electronic device unit 20 for establishing a medium insertion/discharging passage 41 between the opening part 31a of the panel main body 30 and the medium inserting port 21a of the electronic device unit 20. A plurality of kinds of subpanels 40 are set according to the type of electronic device unit assumed in its mounting or exchange.
