Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make printed blood pressure measured values easy to look by accurately arranging the same, by determining a printing position on the basis of the printing position data recorded on a card. CONSTITUTION:When a card C is inserted in an insert port 8 and the reference mark mr thereof is detected by an optical sensor 26, the reflectivity of said reference mark mr is stored. Next, the card C is advanced by one step not only to judge whether the mark mr is detected but also to read the kind thereof. Then, blood pressure is measured to determine a maximal blood pressure value, a minimal blood pressure value and a pulse rate. The obtained maximal blood pressure value or the like are displayed on a display device. The maximal and minimal blood pressure values and the pulse rate are printed on the card C along with a measuring date and, for example, a mark of one line, a mark of two lines and a mark of three lines are respectively printed when the maximal blood pressure is below 120mmHg, 120-170mmHg and 170-below 200 mmHg.
