Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the use efficiency of stroboscopic light and to improve the practical effect of the use of a stroboscope by automatically performing stroboscopic light emission, and at the same time, controlling a diaphragm to an open side at the time of low illuminance and backlight.
CONSTITUTION: By a microcomputer 20, the exposure time of a CCD 3 or shutter speed is determined, and by the timing generation circuit 21 of the CCD 3 by the command of the microcomputer 20, exposure period timing is generated. By a CCD drive circuit 22, the CCD 3 is driven. Further, a Y signal which passes a CDS circuit 4 and an LPE 5 is inputted in a video level detection circuit 23, and the microcomputer 20 is made to recognize the exposure state at each point of time as the average voltage level of the Y signal. Then, the microcomputer 20 determines shutter speed, and at the same time, controls a diaphragm control part 24 to be a diaphragm control means.
