Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for generating conversion for pre-view by applying a converted video signal only to selective pixels in a converted picture, and applying the copy or guidance of the converted video signal to the other pixels. CONSTITUTION: When selected pixels in an image A are read from a first storage device 1 as a sequence, a manipulator 6 operates conversion only to the selected pixels at the time of pre-view. Therefore, conversion is operated only to every four pixels in the output sequence, and conversion is not operated for deciding the pixels interposed between them. However, the pixels to be converted are copied to the pixels not to be converted, and this method is operated for whole cut-out.
