Abstract:
To provide an electronic information storage medium capable of migrating information to a multi-application IC card without modifying an existing system, an application selection processing method, and a program.SOLUTION: An IC card 1 stores, in advance, information indicating associations between commands other than a selected command and applications, determines whether the first command received after the IC card 1 is activated is SELECT command or not, refers to information indicating the associations when the first command is not the SELECT command, specifies an application associated with the first command, executes processing to select the specified application, and causes the selected application to execute processing according to the first command.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
