A mouse 6 inputs data selecting the type of information designated by the icon of the menu screen of a display part 5 and a command for processing information. A keyboard 4 inputs data constituting the content of information. CPU 1 stores data and the command, which are inputted from the mouse 6 and the keyboard 4, in RAM 3, generates information based on stored data and displays it on the display part 5 with a transmission icon in a display system corresponding to the type of information. When the mouse 6 touches the transmission icon, it transmits displayed information as a mail. When the mails are received, they are displayed on the display part 5 in the different display systems for the respective types of the mails.
