Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to exchange electronic money(EM) with normal cash and to allow the EM to be generally accepted by confirming that a transaction of a teller money module is matched with a proper accounting transaction and a transaction of a money generator money module is matched with a suitable teller money module transaction and an accounting transaction by a transaction reconciliation system. SOLUTION: The EM system is provided with a transaction reconciliation system 22, a money generator money module 6, a teller money module 5, and a transaction money module 4. Transaction records from the modules 6, 5 and the an accounting system are periodically sent to the system 22. The system is provided with a processor for analyzing these transaction records and confirming that a transaction of the module 5 is matched with a proper accounting transaction and a transaction of the module 6 is matched with a proper transaction of the module 5 and an accounting transaction, and when a certain transaction is not matched with a corresponding transaction, the existence of a trouble in the system is indicated.
