Title:
ELECTRONIC PAYMENT METHOD BY CHIP CARD USING NUMBERED TOKEN DETECTING ILLEGAL MEANS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3299560
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To satisfy execution possibility, anonymity and the resistance to an illegal means by numbering tokens and providing a method for using plural bits in a charging unit.
CONSTITUTION: A system is constituted of an initial management card 20 for collecting master management cards 22, the master management cards 22 inserting the tokens into consumption cards 24, the consumption cards 24 giving shape to an access title in the system of the token and an operation card 26 for extracting the token from the consumption cards. The numbers are selected at random from the numbers available for sales, and they are allocated to the consumption cards 24 as the tokens called as guarantee slips. The cards are constituted of a group of bits encoding the allocated numbers. The consumption cards 24 show the numbers of the guarantee slips to an operator and the operator collates all the numbers returned to an issuer for the payment of service. The issuer certifies the number. Thus, the number is certified and anonymity is kept by numbering the tokens.
