Abstract:
To provide an electronic payment system, a terminal apparatus, an electronic money management method, and a program capable of preventing shortage of electronic money without making a deposit when purchasing energy using the electronic money.SOLUTION: In an electronic payment system 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a terminal apparatus 10 sets an upper limit amount specified by a user. The terminal apparatus 10 causes, if a user's electronic money balance is equal to or greater than the upper limit amount, an electronic money management apparatus 30 to withdraw the upper limit amount from the balance when receiving an order to fill a vehicle 70, to which energy is to be supplied, with energy. A relay apparatus 20 determines whether or not the user's upper limit amount is greater than the charge based on the energy supply after the energy is supplied to the vehicle 70. If the upper limit amount is greater than the charge based on the energy supply, the relay apparatus 20 causes the electronic money management apparatus 30 to refund the difference between the upper limit amount and the charge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
