Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument pad capable of accurately detecting striking to a percussion face, and suppressing breakage of an electrode of a piezoelectric sensor.SOLUTION: A drum pad 1 for electronic percussion instrument comprises: a plate-state pad layer 2 mainly formed of an elastomer material; and a plate-state piezoelectric sensor 3 disposed on a rear face side of the pad layer 2. The piezoelectric sensor 3 comprises, as a piezoelectric element, a porous resin sheet 31, and a low elastic body 5 is provided between the pad layer 2 and the porous resin sheet 31. An elastic modulus of the low elastic body 5 is larger than that of the porous resin sheet 31 in a thickness direction. The elastic modulus of the low elastic body 5 is smaller than that of a plane direction which is vertical to the thickness direction of the porous resin sheet 31. The low elastic body 5 may be expanded and shrunk in the plane direction. The elastic modulus of the low elastic body 5 is preferably equal to or more than 0.005 GPa and equal to or less than 0.1 GPa.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
