Title:
ELECTRONIC TARGET OF HIGH PERFORMANCE LIGHT BEAM GUN FOR INTERNATIONAL SHOOTING CONTEST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3496064
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure highly accurate scoring of shooting by employing a target plate in which a specified number of CCD linear image light receiving sensors and shift registers for sensing the light beam of a light beam gun are arranged on the surface of the target along the longitudinal and lateral axes passing through the central part of the target and light emitting elements are arranged along a circumference in the surface of the target.
SOLUTION: Line sensors are arranged for N, S, E and W poles to intersect perpendicularly while passing through the center of a target thus constituting the unit of a hitting position detecting sensor for the light beam of a light beam gun. In the drawing, A represents the hitting profile of the light beam gun and B represents the hitting center of a profile circle. Each line sensor is formed by arranging micro CCD linear image light receiving sensors on a line and ten photosensors are arrange per 1 mm, for example. Based on a signal from the light receiving sensor in each line sensor, a microprocessor operates a point obtained from the distance between the hitting center and the center of target and presents the point on a display means.
