PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous time delay information from being given to a bearer, by switching the titled timepiece to an irregular two-second step driving state for warning and displaying a fact that the timepiece is slow, only after the timepiece has been restarted.

CONSTITUTION: In case a voltage of a capacitor 3 is charged again from a reference signal stop state or a pulse motor stop state and the timepiece has started to be driven, the timepiece is switched to an irregular 2sec step for warning a fact that the timepiece is slow by a time portion when a reference signal P6 of a reference signal generating circuit 6 stops or a pulse motor 17 has stopped. That is the second hand moves tow times continuously in the lump at every two seconds, and also, the period in which it moves two times continuously is varied alternately. By the subsequent crown drawing operation, the irregular two-second step driving is released.
