Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of equipment by providing plural sets of electronic calculating units for generating a signal for showing a name of commodity, weight and price and allowing the electronic calculating unit provided with a receipt printer to print through a signal transmission cable. CONSTITUTION:The title device is constituted of a master electronic weighing unit 1, a slave electronic weighing unit 2 and a signal transmission use cable 15. Also, a receipt feeding/printing part 26 is provided on only the unit 1. In this state, for instance, when an article is placed on a pan 4, and an article selecting switch part 6 is operated, a pattern output of a name of the article, and a unit price are supplied to a second transaction memory 27 from an article name character storage part 24, a signal corresponding to weight on the pan is supplied to the memory 27, and when an account-settling key is operated, a receipt is discharged from the printing part 26. Accordingly, since the receipt is issued by only the master unit 1, the cost of equipment can be reduced.
