Title:
ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CARBURETOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5614844
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve reliability in the operation of an electronically controlled carburetor, by arranging a control circuit for producing a signal to a solenois valve for controlling operation of an EGR (exhaust-gas recirculation) valve such that the signal is varied as a function of the atmospheric pressure as well as a function of the temperature of engine cooling water and the engine speed.

CONSTITUTION: In a system for recirculating a portion of exhaust gas to intake pipe 12 via EGR pipe 30 and EGR valve 31, the valve 31 is controlled by a vacuum- operated servo diaphragm 32. Here, in order to prevent that pressure (Pa-P) acted to the diaphragm 32 is varied with change of atmospheric pressure Pa, vacuum acted to the vacuum-operated servo diaphragm 32 is controlled by a valve 36. That is, the valve 36 is closed as the atmospheric pressure Pa is lowered and keeps Pa-P constant.
