To provide an electroosmosis type dehydrator capable of accomplishing enhancement of a dehydration efficient by effectively preventing a reduction in the amount of a current to be energized midway in dehydration by a simple constitution.
The electroosmosis type dehydrator is provided with a first dehydration part 13 for dehydrating a sludge 55 and a second dehydration part 14 arranged in a downstream side of the first dehydration part 13 and dehydrating the sludge 55 dehydrated by the first dehydration part 13. The first dehydration part 13 incorporates a first filter fabric 32 for conveying the sludge 55, a first positive electrode plate 22 opposedly arranged at one side (right side) relative to the sludge 55 conveyed by the first filter fabric 32 and a first caterpillar 29 opposedly arranged at the other side (left side) relative to the sludge 55 conveyed by the first filter fabric 32. The second dehydration part 14 incorporates a second filter fabric 52 for conveying the sludge 55, a second positive electrode plate 42 opposedly arranged at the other side (left side) relative to the sludge 55 conveyed by the second filter fabric 52 and a second caterpillar 49 opposedly arranged at one side (right side) relative to the sludge 55 conveyed by the second filter fabric 52.
