Abstract:
To accurately realize desired optical characteristics in area gradations of an electrophoretic device.
Optical characteristics when the ratio of the number of pixel electrodes supplied with a 1st voltage and the number of pixel electrodes supplied with a 2nd voltage is varied, is previously measured and when an image is displayed, the ratio corresponding to desired optical characteristics is calculated based upon the measured value.
