Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent surely damages due to a lift of the upper part of a main body in the state that its outer cover is closed, by providing a constitution in which a copying machine is not opened unless the outer cover is taken off.

CONSTITUTION: An inspection and a paper removal for the main body of a copying machine are performed by opening upwards and downwards by centering a shaft 104. When an outer cover 107 in front of the copying machine is opened, a controlling plate 112 is rotated and the restraint that a hook 105 is stopped from the side is released. When the hook 105 is rotated by centering a shaft 105a and an engagement to a projecting part 106 is released, an upper frame 101 of the copying machine is lifted upwards. Unless the cover 107 is opened, the opening of the machine is not performed, as the hook 105 is locked, and the outer cover 107 etc. are not damaged.
