Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which produces neither ozone nor nitrogen oxide in electrostatic charging, has a simple and easy-to-manufacture layer structure, and is efficient in charge migration and uniform in electrostatic charging to have superior image characteristics, and to provide an image forming apparatus, a process cartridge, and an image forming method which use the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor which is used for an electrophotographic process using a means for electrostatic charging by light irradiation and bias application has such a structure that a charge generating layer which generates electric charge for electrostatic latent image formation by at least exposure and a charge generating and transporting layer which generates electrostatic charging charges by exposure and transports the charges are laminated in order on a conductive base.
