Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor free of lowering of sensitivity in an early stage of use and in repetitive use and excellent in chargeability, to provide a method for manufacturing the same in which aggregation of a charge generating material does not occur when a coating liquid for a charge transport layer is applied even if a halogen-free solvent is used, and to provide an electrophotographic apparatus using the electrophotographic photoreceptor and an electrophotographic process cartridge.
SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by sequentially stacking at least a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer formed using a halogen-free solvent on a conductive support, wherein the charge generating layer contains a charge generating material having a smaller average particle diameter than the surface roughness of the conductive support and two or more polyvinyl acetal resins different from each other in molecular weight.
