PURPOSE: To apply a photo-decomposition function to a photoreceptor and prevent the occurrence of environmental pollution when the photoreceptor is discarded by using a material with the photo-decomposition function for a conducting base and a photo-conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A charge generation layer 2 and a polysilane layer 1 are laminated on a conducting base 5 made of photo-decomposition resin, a charge generating material 3 and binder resin 4 are dissolved in an organic solvent to disperse the charge generating material 3, a dispersion solution is generated with a dispersion machine, and it is coated and dried. A silyl radical is generated, and siloxane is generated as the final product. A metal conducting layer and a photosensitive layer containing the specific polysilane compound are provided on a photo-decomposition plastic substrate. An electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electrophotographic characteristic and a photo-decomposition function is obtained.
